*Although these ways to make money remotely are specific to myself as a digital nomad solely utilizing Vinjabond, they can also be applied by anyone else.

Pro Membership Site

If and only if you’re reading this, you are a paid member of my website. That means you have full access (such as this very article), removal of banner advertising, access to gear giveaways and 1-on-1 support.

This service is paid rather as a recurring subscription or as a one-time payment.

I use STRIPE as my payment processor and order handler. I’ve found them to be the most reliable, stable and best for ease of use.

Contextual Advertising

As one of the benefits of being a pro member with Vinjabond, these ads are not shown to you. If logged in, most are invisible as if they never existed. These are image and text banner ads.

I earn from impressions and clicks of the displayed ads. Most are placed within most articles and between sections on select pages.

These consist entirely of Google Adsense ads.

Affiliate Sales

I don’t do paid gear reviews but I do get a commission from some of the sales that are generated from some of my outbound product links. I don’t directly sell anything (except Vinjabond subscriptions) or have to deal with inventory, sales or customer service.

I work with Amazon Associates, Skimlinks, ClickBank and a few smaller, direct retailers.

However, I will be selling my own eBooks sometime in the future.

Exit Intent Advertising

This is the newest advertising method that I’ve implemented and am still experimenting with the results. This ad only shows up when the user intends to exit the website in a specific way. But again, this is not shown for pro members, just to non-registered guests.

The eCPM is quite good and is an extremely passive way to show ads.

I’ve been working with Spoutable for this unique advertising method.

All I need is a laptop or smartphone with a decent internet connection and I can work from anywhere in the world at any time… and so can you.
