This is a part of a series of menswear guide posts of my personal outfits and apparel setups for specific scenarios and daily wear.
The clothing I wear is like a nomadic uniform. It’s functional, stylish and designed to perform specifically to my dynamic needs and the demands of high activity.
This is a partial apparel and accessory item kit of my vagabonding lifestyle packing list. The bulk of my equipment is in my FAST Pack EDC Backpack.

Condition Black Ceramic Baselayer
Contents
Super lightweight, insanely stretchy and covered in bombproof ceramic particles to stop your skin ripping off or your top falling apart from abrasions.
Breathable and hydrophilic material with a super-resilient exterior and a silky soft interior.
The unique “tagless” tags on these gave me an idea for search resistant hiding pockets. More details will emerge in the future.
Talon Guide Pant
Precision engineered for durability and movement, combines TAD’s durable Amphibious Cloth with a tough and dynamic stretch woven fabric on the seat and knees for enhanced mobility.
The DWR treated lightweight and quick-drying shell resists precipitation, keeping pace with changing climates.
The unique “tagless” tags on these gave me an idea for search resistant hiding pockets. More details will emerge in the future.
Give-N-Go Brief
Extremely breathable, lightweight, antimicrobial odor resistant, long-wearing and incredibly fast drying. Cooling mesh but durable fabric supplies airflow for ultimate comfort.
17 countries. 6 weeks. One pair of award-winning underwear. (Ok, maybe two.)

CB Concealment Belt
Designed for professionals operating in dangerous environments as well as for citizens living the prepared lifestyle. Based off the Center-Line-Systems EDC belt.
Hidden pockets with deployment tabs that will “deploy” the contents into your hand.
I’ve been testing a standard Escape + Evasion kit with these. Not the most conspicuous but the best belt pocket system I’ve found so far.
Hidden Dry Socks
Engineered with the company’s proprietary DryNamix moisture management technology that keeps feet cool and dry while allowing free airflow for maximum comfort, performance and durability.
Incorporates a hand linked seamless toe, eliminating abrasion across the top of the foot.
I’ve been testing the Stealth/Covert Response Knife using an experimental sheath with these for special circumstance use. More details to follow.
FDT Alpha Touch Gloves
Patrol Incident Gear Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Touch Gloves” is the official full name of this product. It’s quite a mouthful but it’s aptly named.
Conductive thumb and trigger finger material for touch screen capabilities.
Not only do I use these for some of my gear review photography, they are hands down the best shooting gloves I’ve ever used.
Shadow Amphibian Boots
The Ultimate Special Forces Tactical Boot. Made for and in conjunction with the Navy SEALs to use while in the air, on land and while swimming.
The grail tactical boot. The finest, most practical and advanced footwear of this kind.
These have hidden pockets on the tongue and useful for stashing a SERE kit, small valuables or non-permissive items.
Wrist Sweatband
Made by Suddora.
Black. 80% Cotton, 12% Spandex & 8% Nylon.
I almost always have one of these on my wrist, and sometimes a Carbon Fiber Lapel Dagger inserted into a pocket I would stitch.

Ordered the Ceramic shirt by Vollebak after you teased that photo. It crazy expensive but it’s the best t shirt I ever bought. It’s incredibly overengineered, can’t say the same about any other mere shirt.

Just read one of your other reviews and am just gonna repeat what other comment another reader wrote cuz it’s true “Thanks John, you’re making me broke”.
Nice new series… a bit out of my price range, maybe the next could be a bit more manageble for us regular folk?
Sick belt, wishlisting it. Thanks brotha.
How’s that crazy shirt holding up so far? With the price tag?
My gf and I had the pleasure to meet Nick and Steve from Vollebak ( to pick up their insane Condition Black Jacket ) It was like meeting Steve Jobs while he was building computers in his garage. These guys rock. Every other brand should beware. They are next level to the next level 🙂
