The gear we EDC is constantly upgraded but the pockets we carry them in haven’t changed in a century, until the Moduloader Pocket Shield.
“The unique mounting slots on the Pocket Shield allow users to attach nearly any small knife sheath or pocket holster to the platform at a wide range of angles. It can even be trimmed by the user to facilitate achieving a full fighting grip on the weapon or to fit in smaller pockets.”
Imagine reaching into your pocket and having the same item in the same spot every time. Multiple items placed exactly where it’s the most accessible. No more fumbling or cluttering of gear in your pockets.
The ModuLoader Pocket Shield($) makes it possible. Technical, efficient, custom, tactical and comfortable pocket usage maximizing space and concealability.
Pockets are merely small container bags that are attached to pants. The things we put in there drop to the bottom and pile up on top of another. The more we put in them, the more distorted and bulgy the pockets get. This creates discomfort, hindered maneuverability and worse, difficult / inefficient access.
Now there’s a better way.
The Pocket Shield can make most pockets into an organizational and everyday carry powerhouse.

The Pocket Shield is shaped to ride comfortably in the front pocket of most pants, and provides consistent orientation within the pocket to facilitate quick-access and deployment…
Beyond being able to fit more items in your pocket comfortably, it secures them in whatever position you want for quick access as well as visually concealing the contents by negating “pocket bulge”.
The Pocket Shield is dynamically ergonomic, forming to the user’s body and adjusting to conform to different positions and movements.

Although originally designed for pants, it can also be implemented to jacket pockets and bags for internal gear management just as effectively.
When I first opened the package, my first impression was disappointment as all I saw was a thin piece of black plastic that cost me $25. After playing around with it for hours experimenting with all the possibilities then using it in the real world, the ModuLoader Pocket Shield became an indispensable part of my EDC.
This advancement in pocket function was conceived by Chris Fry, owner of MDTS Training as a way to conveniently carry and conceal firearms, knives and other tools in the front pocket of pants.
Because of this intended tactical application, it can be just as useful for everyday life as I use it for my vagabonding lifestyle of world travel.
This is on your person MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) for your pockets.

This is genius, must get for my EDC.
Not to get all girly but I can something like this making good use in my purse.
Indeed, it could be used for anything.
Where do you get the elastic binds you are using in the picture for the shield, I purchased one and the stuff it comes with isnt nearly that useful. Thanks
I cannibalize parts from my gear all the time and I have a lot of these from old backpacks and holsters. But you can buy them at your local REI store, or any adventure sports store.
