Time is the driving force of every aspect of our lives. Our ideas, decisions and future depend on it. We are its bitch, but we can’t let it get away from us.
“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. However, once you’ve lost it you can never get it back. – Harvey MacKay
It’s already been 96 hours since the start of the new year, what have you done with your time thus far?
The year just started so you probably feel there’s plenty of time to accomplish all your goals. That’s the problem, our calendar system and perception of time is arbitrary. There’s no beginning or end.
Time is always moving at a fixed and immovable rate. So you shouldn’t think you have all this extra time just because the year just started fresh.
“Time is more value than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time. – Jim Rohn
Time will get away from you if you don’t use it while you can, which is always presently and never after.
It may be a new year, month and day but you yourself are not new. You’re older and only getting older as time moves along, so don’t think you have a fresh start.
In fact, you now have less time.
“The trouble is, you think you have time. -Buddha
It may be the very first month of this brand new year but what month are you in our average lifespan of 900 months? I’m already pushing over 400…
That’s almost half my living existence on earth.
We only get one start, one timeline and one life to live.
Don’t let time get away from you.
