Physical preparedness is essential as an urban survivalist. At its most complex; martial arts. At its most basic and perhaps more useful; running.
In almost every possible hostile urban scenario, avoiding danger is better than confronting danger. If that’s an option, then it’s the only option.
It’s simple math, subtract the harmful element by increasing distance between it and yourself until the safety / danger ratio is within your favor.
Running is the most basic and vital but it’s only a part of the dynamic “escape and evasion” skillset.
