Walk, react and behave with a certain nuanced or focused directional purpose to gain an advantage in your everyday and professional life.
“The quality of decision is like the well-timed swoop of a falcon which enables it to strike and destroy its victim.” -Sun Tzu
There’s an art to the way you move your mind for strategy but this is about physicality. Moving the body during ordinary actions and specific motions with a stylized and calculated way while eyes are watching.
This is to achieve optimum results or differentially desired outcomes from any physical sequence involved in a social or otherwise interpersonal situation.
Example 1: Accessing, being in and maintaining access in a restricted / private / secure area. In other words, being in a place where you are technically not allowed to be in. Among many other factors to keep cover, merely moving around and through the space as if you belong there is vital. To move with a purpose.
Example 2: Approaching and making initial contact with a female for recreational purposes in a busy bar. In this case, there must be obvious confidence and no hesitation in the walk towards and the subsequent physical mannerisms during contact. To move with a purpose.
Example 3: Crossing a dangerous neighborhood or street as a foreigner or outsider. This would be a combination of example 1 and 2. The walk, the body language and the look in the face must have confidence while appearing as if you belong in the locale. To move with purpose.
To “move with a purpose” can be useful in any other activity involving at least one other person. Just with situationally appropriate and strategic “moves”.
Don’t move like a tourist, but always with a purpose. Move with direction, unless indirection is the direction.
