Situated in the middle of a short dead-end alleyway around 20 minutes walk from the city center. The alleyway, while not an official or marked street, is relatively wide and easily accessible.
The red cooler (box] in the center of the photo, while a common item seen in the streets of Siem Reap, is a good marker. It was there years ago when I first placed the go-bag, last year when I was there and last month when my associate took this photo.
Interposed between 2 “V…..”’s, with the entrance of the alleyway forming a “V”. No relation to “Vinjatek”.
As there isn’t a street sign to look for, consider navigating to “26 4/5th Street”. It’s a couple of minutes walk from a single corner via Makara.
The go-bag is hùng on an enclosed area of barbed wiring, between the brick wall and the green fencing. The strip of brown fencing pulls out and to the left is a generic black duffle bag wrapped in plastic bags.
