Vagabonding: a way of living in different cities and countries around the world. Every location change making a new beginning… a new life. Ever-reinvention.
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” -George Bernard Shaw
Vagabonding is a perpetually changing lifestyle.
A vagabond lives many different lives.
Travel may be the heart of vagabonding but it goes deeper. The core purpose of a modern vagabond is to explore the faceted worlds that make up the world, as a living experience with every new destination.
When on a holiday or a vacation, you run away from a dull and normal life as a temporary escape. With vagabonding, you run towards a unique and fulfilling life with permanence. A unique life as its ever-changing – molded and shaped by every new location lived in, experience learned from and eyes broadened by a wider perspective of the world.
I’ve been to many countries while vagabonding and every time I step foot on new land, I feel a refreshed sense of life. I feel this because I know I now have foreign places to explore, a new culture to be shocked in, unfamiliar tastes to excite my tongue, smell and hear the unique scents and sounds of my new surroundings. It makes me feel re-alive.
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” -Marcel Proust
A fresh set of experiences for all 5 senses. A new world to learn, absorb and be changed by. A new everything makes for a new person, a new and different life advanced from the life before.
With each new life a vagabond lives, one evolves into a wiser, stronger and smarter person. Never losing the foundation of oneself from a time before vagabonding, just a better developed version.
Vagabonding is the art of living many lives.
