‘VINJABOND’ is the name of this site but it’s not a random sequence of characters. It won’t be found in a dictionary, but this is its etymology.
Before this site existed, it needed a name. A domain name to be exact. A something-dot-com. I originally wanted “Vagabond.com”. But that was taken by a shoe company.
A good brand name and just as equal, a good website name should be short, memorable and look good in print. So “Vagabond-Something.com” was out of the question.
‘Vinja” was (is) an auxiliary code name of mine before my retirement of which was never active. So I combined that with vagabond and came up with VINJABOND.
[VINJA] + vaga(BOND) = VINJABOND

well, love your logo my man.
Very clever!
Good to know, inventive to.
I thought you substituted Vinja for Ninja…but also subtituted your initial V (as in John V Cain) to get Vinja
I always figured that it was a play on “ninja” and “vagabond”.
Love your feel for graphics as well. All my text ta2s are in Eurostile
