‘Before I Die…‘ is a series of posts about all the (feasible) things I personally want to experience and the places I want to see… before I die. – view the list

*TOMORROWLAND FESTIVAL BOOM / ATLANTA / SÃO PAULO

I’ve got less than 15,000 days before I die to explore the 197,000,000 square miles of Earth and try its infinite experiences.

The world is full of festivals as fantastic and monstrous as Tomorrowland but none equal the epic scale of its atmospheric venues, hence… Tomorrow – LAND.

Tomorrowland is an annual 3 day electronic music festival event with over 400,000 attendees.

The main and original Tomorrowland takes place in the town of Boom, Beliguim and has spawned similar versions in Atlanta, USA and São Paulo, Brazil.

I don’t use the word “epic” lightly but when they build a massive life-size volcano that actually erupts as the main stage setpiece, that’s some epic shit.

Tomorrowland changes it up with just as ginormous and breathtaking “lands” for each of their events.

The closest event that I’ve attended to Tomorrowland is the Ultra Music Festival which takes place literally downstairs from my condo building in Miami.

‘Ultra’ brings in about 150,000 of the same kind of people from around the world focusing also on the electronic music genre. I’ve gone 3 times and it was awesomely impressive each time.

But after discovering Tomorrowland, I knew I’ve found a new ultra-mega-super festival that I had to experience before I die. The party to end all parties… every year.

I went to the WMC Ultra Festival to and it was nothing like this. This is truly amazing. I think I’ll try to make it to the Brazil one.
