/// ASK: What’s a Smaller and More Mobile Daypack Alternative?
My girlfriend and I have been packing ultralight after finding your blog (thanks!) and so our North Face daypacks have become unnecessarily big and cumbersome for our day to day needs while traveling. Can you recommend a smaller and mobile alternative to traditional daypacks?-Keith M.

This bag is a mix between a wallet and a daypack but worn like an article of clothing. As you can see, the storage capacity is limited but maximizes mobility.
I’ve used this holster pack almost every single day of my travels for over a year. It has become an indispensable part of my EDC carry system.
Being a holster, an actual daypack or even a full-sized backpack can comfortably fit over it for those times when you need that extra space.
The other option would be a fanny pack. It’s not exactly my style but you can’t deny the content accessibility and location efficiency of them.
